By accessing or using CloudKata ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Description of Service
CloudKata is a platform that provides hands-on practice challenges for learning cloud computing skills, including but not limited to compute, networking, storage, security and infrastructure-as-code concepts. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
CloudKata is currently offered free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or pricing plans in the future, with advance notice to users.
User Accounts
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information during registration
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should have a parent or guardian review these Terms.
Acceptable Use
When using CloudKata, you agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts or our infrastructure
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service in a way that could disrupt normal operation
- Submit content that is unlawful, harmful or infringes on the rights of others
- Attempt to circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Service
- Use the Service to attack, probe or test real third-party cloud infrastructure without authorization
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Intellectual Property
All content provided as part of the Service, including challenge descriptions, platform design and branding, is the property of CloudKata unless otherwise stated. You retain ownership of any code or solutions you submit, but you grant CloudKata a license to store and process your submissions for the purpose of operating the Service.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in good faith, to be harmful to the Service or other users.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us to request account deletion.
